Who we are

PPC Career Academy ("we", "us") provides PPC and paid media training and job-placement services. This policy explains how we handle your personal data when you use ppc-academy.co.uk and our forms.

What we collect

• Information you submit through our application, employer and contact forms — such as your name, email, phone, location, background and messages.
• Marketing attribution data — if you reach us via an online advert, we record the ad-click identifier (e.g. Google's gclid) and campaign tags (UTM parameters) so we know which campaign your enquiry came from and can measure our advertising.
• Basic analytics data (e.g. pages visited and approximate location) — only if you accept analytics cookies.
• Technical information your browser sends automatically, such as your IP address, used to operate and secure the site.

How we use it

• To respond to applications, enquiries and messages, and to deliver the programme.
• To match applicants with hiring employers as part of our placement service.
• To understand and improve how the website performs (analytics, with consent).
• To comply with our legal obligations.

Cookies & analytics

We do not load any analytics or tracking cookies until you accept them via our cookie banner. If you decline, only the strictly necessary functionality needed to run the site is used.

With your consent, we use Microsoft Clarity to view anonymised heatmaps and session replays of how pages are used, so we can improve them. Text you type — including anything you enter into forms — is masked, and Clarity only ever loads after you accept analytics cookies.

If you arrive from an online advert, we store the ad-click and campaign details in a single first-party cookie so we can attribute your enquiry to the right campaign. It sets no third-party cookies and loads no external scripts, and it expires automatically after 90 days.

You can change your mind at any time by clearing your browser's site data, which will re-show the cookie banner.

Sharing your data

We share applicant information with prospective hiring employers only as part of the placement service you've engaged us for. We use trusted service providers (for example, hosting and email) who process data on our behalf. We never sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

We keep your data only as long as necessary for the purposes above — typically for the duration of your relationship with us plus a reasonable period afterwards, unless a longer period is required by law.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or port your data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email us and we'll respond within statutory timeframes.
